On 28th January the Springvale dojo was full of teens and the Advanced class children for a day of training, activities and fun. It was great to see the older ones taking on leadership rolls and inspiring those that are yet to join the adults class.

The date for the biggest event on the Shudokan Calendar is set for Sunday 18th March. All students are encouraged to participate.

The adults gradings on 16th September will both be at the Heidelberg dojo

The times for childrens gradings on 16th September have been set

Exciting News from the team at Aiki-insights!! Their first live webinar will be held on Sunday 9th July at 3pm,

Chida-Shihan’s demonstrations and clinics are much sought-after both throughout Japan and around the world.

Practice has already begun for the upcoming grading on 24th June. Test booklets have started to go out and are due back on 12th June.

There will be a black belt class at the Heidelberg dojo on 23rd June at 7:45.

Congratulations are in order for everyone who took part in and helped with the 37th Anniversary demonstration. Not only was some absolutely top notch aikido on display but the collective spirit of the dojo really shone through and made the day truly special

This April, Aikido Shudokan is fortunate enough to be hosting 10th Dan Inoue Kyoichi Kancho. Inoue Kancho is the only living 10th Dan in Yoshinkan aikido and an opportunity to learn from him is not to be missed!

The largest event on the Aikido Shudokan calendar, being held on 26th March 2017, is fast approaching and training for it is well under way! The dojo has been established for 37 years and the demonstration has been run every year for 30 years straight, which is no mean feat.
