Chida-Shihan’s demonstrations and clinics are much sought-after both throughout Japan and around the world. This is an event that you don't want to miss because his technique is phenomenal and his teaching style is highly engaging so you know that you will walk away with a greater understanding of aikido whilst having had a thoroughly enjoyable seminar.

Practice has already begun for the upcoming grading on 24th June. Test booklets have started to go out and are due back on 12th June.

There will be a black belt class at the Heidelberg dojo on 23rd June at 7:45.

Congratulations are in order for everyone who took part in and helped with the 37th Anniversary demonstration. Not only was some absolutely top notch aikido on display but the collective spirit of the dojo really shone through and made the day truly special

This April, Aikido Shudokan is fortunate enough to be hosting 10th Dan Inoue Kyoichi Kancho. Inoue Kancho is the only living 10th Dan in Yoshinkan aikido and an opportunity to learn from him is not to be missed!

The largest event on the Aikido Shudokan calendar, being held on 26th March 2017, is fast approaching and training for it is well under way! The dojo has been established for 37 years and the demonstration has been run every year for 30 years straight, which is no mean feat.

This is a special 4-week Aikido beginners course specially designed to give students a taste of all the different aspects of Aikido, from basic movements, learning to fall safely, applying basic techniques and learning self defence. The course gives you an easy way to get on the mats and try out Aikido.

Hot off the press! The latest edition of the Aikido Shudokan E-mag is the biggest yet! It includes the trials and tribulations of dojosei, fresh views from our beginners, words of wisdom excerpted from Aiki Insights, trips down memory lane of the many events that we had this year, the international student of the year award, info about the new soto-deshi program for taking your aikido to the next level, dojo calendar for next year and much more.

Robert Mustard Sensei, 8th Dan Yoshinkan Aikido, will be teaching in Melbourne on 29th and 30th October 2016 for an action-packed and highly-enjoyable 2-day seminar. He is recognised worldwide as being among the very best Yoshinkan Aikido practitioners and instructors.

This seminar provides a unique insight into aiki combat principles and application from 3 of Australia's top instructors. The seminar is being run in Melbourne on 4th June.

The biggest event on the Aikido Shudokan calendar is on again soon - taking place on Saturday 30th April 2016 at Trinity Grammar School, 40 Charles Street, Kew.
